A company receives MERIT500 Growth Experience, with the following criterions:

• Sales that excess of EUR 1 million, according to the latest annual report.
• At least ten employees, according to the latest annual report.
• At least doubled its turnover, if one compares the first and most recent financial year in the four-year survey period.
• Increased its turnover every year for the past three years.

Unicorn

Unicorn companies are those that reach a valuation of $1 billion without being listed on the stock market.

Upcoming Companies

The main focus of the database MERIT500 are the Senior Executives working in listed companies, big unlisted companies or companies owned by Private Equity. These executives are referred to as MERIT500 Executives. We also include companies that are outside of the usual MERIT500 target group, these companies all have a MERIT500 Executive, either in the Board or as the CEO.
